Jasmine flowers hold more moisture than tea leaves, which makes for a bad combination if you want to keep your tea leaves from molding. With Blizzard, the tea master intentionally added jasmine flowers to the mix, but not for the reason you think. In 1995, the tea master behind Blizzard invented a new process for infusing Jasmine Green teas.
